Using Attraction Marketing in Your Home-Based Business

I’ve been in Network Marketing for several years as far back as having done it the old fashioned way. You know, the in-home presentations, hotel meetings, calling your warm market and setting up appointments to show the plan, etc. One of the things I’ve noticed in those environments is that the folks who were the most successful learned how to promote themselves as a brand. They seemed to not have any problem signing up people.

Years later, I was to read an e-book by Mike Dillard called Magnetic Sponsoring that helped me to understand what I was seeing in the world of MLM. It was a concept called Attraction Marketing. Later on I was to implement the principles and techniques of attraction marketing in the online world as a Home-Based Entrepreneur as well as my own business offline as a professional musician (mainly as an instrumental instructor). The result is I have gotten more sign ups and more business coming in for both vocations.

Since Mike Dilliard’s book had come out, the concept of Attraction Marketing has absolutely permeated through the MLM/Network Marketing industry.

The Essence of Attraction Marketing and How You Can Implement it into Your Business

In MLM Attraction Marketing, the focus no longer falls on the products being marketed or even around the company, but on the particular person behind the business enterprise. I no this is going to bust some paradigms and mess up what you were probably trained to do in your home-based business. And this might even upset you a little, but stay with me. All that company stuff is still important, it just comes later in the formula. In this model, you no longer try to convince people to trust products that they might never have even thought to try or even to look at a company they may have heard of. You first, get them to know, like and trust you as someone AND your ability to guide them towards results and your lucrative business enterprise.

The best way to do attraction marketing is to give away free invaluable content, always providing good content always give you the best leads and results in your business online. One of the many ways to do this is to create your own blog or a page in Social Media and attract readers to it, so they can learn about YOU as a leader they can trust. You’ll find that people will naturally be attracted to you and will be open to listening to what you have to share. The bottom line is that people more often join people, not opportunities.

If you’re using Social Media platforms like (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) for your marketing, take care how you present yourself to others. It can make or break your business. If you’re posts are negative or derogatory towards others, you’ll find that few people will want to do business with you, let alone associate with you. Be positive and give value to others.

To learn more about this, I really recommend reading Mike Dillard’s book. If you take to heart and put to practice what he shares, you’ll turn your business upside down and dramatically improve your results. He has recently made it available from Amazon.com.
